My biggest expectation for this trip is that the conversations and the mood will be such a good one that further collaborations will be possible.
Some of you i know, some of you i don’t. for those who don’t know me, i can write down some little lines, as Vanessa suggested.
I am a visual artist, working mainly with videos, but recently I have tried a bit, other forms of art (sound art, performance, text, mail-art). I am based in Bucharest.
I joined the SEAS team first time in Odessa, after that I was invited to Istanbul and Goteborg as well. I will join the team in Turkey from 14 to 27 of September. During this period I will try to have spontaneous art initiatives.
I will also keep a workshop about video art in Batumi, most probably together with Anne Lise, which i know because of SEAS. My first real meeting with Anne Lise was when she helped me buy shoes and clothes in a shopping center 3 minutes before closing time. We were running from one shop to another. She choose the shoes for me, which I wear quite often. This hurry was because we were in Goteborg and I was wearing summer clothes, inspite the very cold weather outside… not because i didn’t bring warm clothes, but because the airline company lost my luggage…
I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t tell you that I really miss the Turkish cuisine so I expect plenty of sweets and excellent food!
A, yes… and I would love to be able to do one scuba dive during the trip, most probably in Batumi… anybody want to join me?
Looking forward to meeting all of you,
Cristina
